I hate to be writing this but yes, legs are very important to train and you should train them. Training legs offers many benefits, like a lot. And they are like the most important muscle because like…. we use them to walk…? Its crucial to have exercises for legs.

Why train legs?
-Improved Athletic Performance Your legs….. you know… stronger legs = run faster or be more agile, something like that
-Boosts your metabolism so you can enjoy more foods Yum, cuz the leg contains large muscle groups
-Increases testosterone Large muscle group triggers hormones to help repair it
-Aesthetic benefit You obviously are gonna have to need a bigger lower half if you are making your upper half bigger
Anatomy of the Leg
The leg is built up of 2 main muscle groups which are the hamstrings that sit at the back of your legs and the quadriceps. These exercises also train the glutes which is the muscle that is your behind.

Squats
Whether it is dumbbell or barbell squats, it is a staple in every leg workout. It trains all the muscle groups of the leg and is great for training strength and size.
Hamstring Curl
This requires a machine so people who train at home should focus more on squats. This exercise targets the hamstrings.
Quad Extensions
Also requires a machine, this exercise trains the quadriceps.
Don’t bother training calves. All genetic. Anyhow it usually gets trained with the squat. After squats you should try some abdominal exercises.
